Scheduling

What to Expect:

  • First time coming in
  • Please arrive a few minutes early to your appointment in order to complete your new client forms. Your massage therapist will review your forms and ask any follow-up questions at that time. If you have any questions, feel free to speak up.
  • You will then be lead to the privacy of a treatment room to undress and get comfortable on the massage table. You may disrobe completely or remain partially clothed.

How to Prepare

During your massage

  • Your massage therapist will communicate with you periodically, as needed, to determine your feedback on pressure or techniques. If you experience any pain or discomfort at any time, please let your massage therapist know right away.
  • At the end of your massage, your therapist will allow you to slowly get up and get dressed in privacy.

After care

  • Your personal response to a massage will vary depending on the type of massage you received, the length of your session, and how often you receive massage.
  • It is best to drink extra water to help your body recover.
  • It is a good idea to have a little quiet time after your massage, if possible.
  • To receive the greatest benefit from massage therapy, it is best to receive follow-up massage sessions. You can work with your massage therapist to customize a plan that will meet your health and wellness needs.
